INSTALLATION

When installing WESTERBEKE engines

and

generators it

important that strict

attention

be paid

the following information:

CODES

REGULATIONS

Strict federal regulations,

guidelines, and safety codes must be complied

with

when

installing engines and generators

a marine environment.

SIPHON-BREAK

For installations where the exhaust manifold/water injected exhaust elbow

will

below the vessel's waterline

EXHAUST

SYSTEM

The

exhaust hose must

certified

for

marine

use.

The

system must

designed

prevent water

from

entering

the

exhaust under

any

sea conditions

and

any

angle

vessels hull.
